The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) is a global professional association for poultry veterinarians and other avian health professionals. WVPA is run by an elected Executive and holds a Global Congress every two years.

Its members come from all around the world and are in academia, research, government, industry and practice.

Conference: Big & smart data Added: 24-May-2018

Big & smart data for efficient, safe and healthy poultry production is a two hour symposium that highlights how data and its management is rising in importance within poultry production.

This event will feature three key speakers from Europe sharing their knowledge and experience in this key area with a panel discussion offering a chance to ask questions.

Entrance is FREE and refreshments will be served at 12:00 before the presentations at 12:30pm.

Fifth International Poultry Conference to be held in Hama, Syria Added: 14-March-2018

The Fifth International Poultry Conference
And the specialized exhibition in poultry industry and health will be held in Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hama - Syria.

The conference will take place on 23-25th ​​April 2018.

Full research will be accepted in Arabic or English, including a summary in Arabic and English no later than 15/3/2018.

The Italian Branch of WVPA were successful with their bid to host the 2021 WVPA Congress in Verona

A Global Success for WVPA Added: 14-September-2017

The XXth WVPA Congress, which was recently held in Edinburgh, Scotland, was a great success with over 2,150 delegates from 80 countries attending. They listened to 160 papers and viewed over 350 posters.

This year’s WVPA-Zoetis Young Poultry Veterinarian Award went to Dr Gowthaman Vasudevan from India, while Prof. Dr Nikolaus Osterrieder from Germany received the WVPA-Boehringer-Ingelheim Innovation in Vaccination Award. All regions of the world were well represented.

The delegates worked intensely during the four days of lectures and also had time to visit the trade exhibition. The highlight of the social programme was the Gala Dinner that was held in the National Museum of Scotland.
